- A barrier using the site. Something you couldn’t read, reach with a keyboard, or use with your screen reader or zoom. See our accessibility statement.
- An idea for a journey or tool. What money question do you wish someone had walked you through?
- Working together. Community organizations, libraries, settlement agencies and non-profit credit counsellors who’d like to share FinLII with the people they serve.

What we can’t do
We’re here to explain how money works, not to advise you on your own situation. So we can’t:
- tell you which bank, card, loan, account or investment to choose
- review your personal finances, tax return or credit report
- decide whether you qualify for a benefit (only the government program can)
- act for you with a bank, lender, collector or government office
For advice about your situation, talk to a non-profit credit counsellor, a free tax clinic, a Licensed Insolvency Trustee or another qualified professional. Our Get help page lists free, neutral places to start.
Your privacy when you write
When you email us, we see your email address and what you write, and nothing else. We use it only to reply and to improve FinLII. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we never sell or share it.
Please don’t send account numbers, your SIN or passwords. We’ll never ask for them. If anyone claiming to be FinLII asks for them, it isn’t us.
